Business Development/Outside Sales Representative


The Business Development /Outside Sales Representative is a high profile position within VRC and within the community. Business Development /Outside Sales Representative will maintain current knowledge of VRC mission, goals, and strategic plan and is expected to maintain confidentiality for all VRC business. Business Development /Outside Sales Representative is accountable for developing and communicating the development strategic plan including goals, timelines and benchmarks and an array of business sales and marketing strategies that generates revenue in support of the VRC mission.

Business Development /Outside Sales Representative will focus primarily in the IL region. Business Development /Outside Sales Representative is accountable to achieve VRC plan, goals, timelines and benchmarks by Identifying cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects. Business Development /Outside Sales Representative is expected to provide leadership to employees with the ability and knowledge to recognize and utilize employee strengths, and recognize and provide training for employee weaknesses. In addition, explore and present/provide possibilities and solutions for challenging situations. Business Development /Outside Sales Representative is expected to promote goodwill and convey a positive image of VRC to board members, clients, vendors and other constituents.

Business Development

  • Social Media Communication on Social Media platforms Research Blogging Website security Customer Service Special Projects/Taboo Topix implementation and maintenance

Strategic Planning

  • Oversee the execution of the activities that ensure the success of VRC and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute annual work plan including income goals, timelines, activities and benchmarks.
  • Update Development Strategic Plan

We are located in West Dundee IL, and the hours are flexible.

High school graduate. College preferred. A minimum of three years experience in sales. A successful record of business development and ability to provide testimony of increasing sales and growth. IT (Part-time) has the ability to go full-time!


The IT Specialist is a high profile position within VRC. The person in this position will maintain current knowledge of VRC mission, goals, and strategic plan and is expected to maintain confidentiality for all VRC business. VRC primarily uses MAC and the individual is expected to know how to work on a MAC.

The IT Specialist is accountable for communicating with the President in regards to all website activity, including, but not limited to, security, ways to increase visibility of VRC website, all postings on the website. Further, the right person in this position is accountable to achieve a more consistent presence on the social media, including but not limited to writing and posting appropriate HR added value onto the website and social media, communicating events and HR happenings and other related material via social media. Further, maintenance to the website, and other IT related areas, such as email, calendars and phones. Most importantly, this person is expected to promote goodwill and convey a positive image of VRC to board members, clients, vendors and other constituents.
